Respite Counselors Wanted:
Spend a weekend making a difference! Be a big brother or sister. Respite Counselors provide daily support and guidance to the participants assigned to their group. They work cooperatively with the other program staff to foster participant independence while ensuring participant's individual needs are met.
Respite counselors also assist in running activities in sports, arts and crafts and cooking. You can work one or all weekends. Salary ranges from $110-$125 a weekend depending on experience.
Cabin Counselor: (27 positions available)
The Cabin Counselor is responsible for providing daily support and guidance to the campers assigned to their group. Cabin Counselors work cooperatively with the other cabin staff to foster camper independence while ensuring their individual needs are met
The Cabin Counselor works under the supervision of the Cabin Leader and assigned Unit Coordinator. The Cabin Counselor also works with an interdisciplinary team to support the summer camp program and its campers
Cabin Leader: (10 positions available)
The Cabin Leader is a supervisory position at camp. The Cabin Leader is responsible for providing support and guidance to all staff assigned to the cabin. The Cabin Leader fosters camper independence while ensuring their individual needs are met.
The Cabin Leader works under the supervision of assigned Unit Coordinator. The Cabin Leader also works with an interdisciplinary team to support the assigned camper's within there cabin
Unit Coordinator: (2 positions available)
The Unit Coordinator works in cooperation with the Participant Services Coordinator and is a member of the camp leadership team. The Unit Coordinator supervises all the cabin staff within their unit and works with camp administration to ensure the mission of camp is being achieved.
The Unit Coordinator oversees all campers and cabin staff in their assigned cabins. The Unit Coordinator is a member of the camp leadership team and is responsible for daily support, contact and guidance of all cabin staff that live and/or work in their assigned cabins. The Unit Coordinator will act as a resource and provide support to cabin staff to ensure that camper's individual needs are met.
Program Leader: (7 positions available)
The Program Leader is responsible for their assigned program area. The Program Leader is responsible for developing and implementing quality and dynamic program activities for campers of all abilities and ages. The Program Leader will be assigned to a cabin group and will assist cabin staff when not in their program areas.
The Program Leader works under the supervision of the Camp Activities Coordinator and/or Program Specialist, Camping Services and has contact with each camper and staff on a daily bases. The Program Leader also works closely with assigned cabin staff when not in their program area.
Summer Administrative Assistant: (1 position available)
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating the operations of the main office and assisting with the coordination of the office of the Director and Assistant Director. The Administrative Assistant manages all aspects of the camp store as well as assists the Directors in maintaining staff & camper files, keeping accurate databases and obtaining program and facility supplies
Camp Activities Coordinator: (1 position available)
The Camp Activities Coordinator oversees all aspects of on-camp programming and is a member of the camp leadership team. The Camp Activities Coordinator is responsible for daily support, contact and guidance of all camp program leaders. The Camp Activities Coordinator will ensure that all camp activities challenge each camper to achieve their maximum potential.
Camp Nurse : (2 positions available)
The Camp Nurse(RN) is responsible to assist the Health Services Coordinator in ensuring the health and wellness of all campers and staff. The Camp Nurse will communicate regularly with cabin staff and administers medication and first aid
Health Services Assistant: (2 positions available)
The Health Services Assistant is responsible to assist the Health Services Coordinator and Registered Nurses in ensuring the health and wellness of all campers and staff. The Health Services Assistant communicates regularly with cabin staff and administers medication and first aid.
The Health Services Assistant is under to constant supervision of the Health Services Coordinator. The Health Services Assistant works cooperatively with the other health services staff. The Health Services Assistant will work with all camp staff at some point in the summer
League Pioneer Coordinator: (1 position available)
The League Pioneer Coordinator facilitates the League Pioneer program and is a member of the camp leadership team. The League Pioneer Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the League Pioneer program located at Walnut Springs. The League Pioneer Coordinator will provide daily support, contact and guidance of all League Pioneer staff
League Pioneer Counselor: (3 positions available)
The League Pioneer Counselor is responsible to assist in facilitating the primitive camp program, League Pioneers. The League Pioneer Counselor is responsible for developing and implementing quality and dynamic primitive camp activities for campers of all abilities and ages. The League Pioneer Counselor also works with League Pioneer campers to build meaningful relationships and support them with their personal needs.
Participant Services Coordinator: (1 position available)
The Participant Services Coordinator works with the Assistant Director to oversee all aspects of camper services and is a member of the camp leadership team. The Participant Services Coordinator is responsible for daily support, contact and guidance of the Unit Coordinators and all cabin staff. The Participant Services Coordinator will ensure each camper at camp is receiving all the services and programming needed to be successful in the camp environment
Travel Camp Coordinator : (1 position available)
The Travel Camp Coordinator facilitates the Travel Camp program and is a member of the camp leadership team. The Travel Camp Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the Travel Camp, which is a mobile camp that moves locations each session. The Travel Camp Coordinator will provide daily support, contact and guidance of all Travel Camp staff.
Travel Camp Counselor : (3 positions available)
The Travel Camp Counselor is responsible for providing daily support and guidance to assigned travelers and assisting in the overall successful running of the Travel Camp program. The Travel Counselor works cooperatively with the other Travel Camp staff to foster camper independence while ensuring their individual needs are met
