Message from the CEO

Dear Friends of The League,

As The League continues to celebrate 80 years of Putting Ability First , I am reminded of all the hard work our participants, volunteers & staff do to ensure The League remains an innovative and pioneering agency for people of all abilities.

This year, we are working hard to respond to the changing needs of our participants by modifying existing programs and creating new options. Last year, The League introduced a new Autism Services program. In the past year, the program has grown to over 20 participants who utilize this unique program either in our facility or their homes.

This year, The League introduces another new program:
Day Habilitation. In small groups, participants develop daily living, physical activity, computer training and community integration skills. These programs, like all of our programs, are designed to help all of our participants improve their self esteem and achieve their highest personal level of independence.

I invite you to become inspired by our programs, our facility and our participants. Please come in for a tour and see what The League has to offer you, a family member or a friend.

Sincerely

David A. Greenberg
Chief Executive Officer
