Summer Camp: Check-in time is as follows, please follow it carefully: If your last name begins with A-G: 12:30pm-1:30pm; H-O: 1:30pm-2:30pm; P-Z: 2:30-3:30pm. Please note that we cannot accept campers prior to their check-in time. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact the Director. When you arrive at camp, plan on being there for about 1 hour to assist them in moving into their cabin, meet with the Health Center staff (regardless if they take medication) and check in with the Director.
Greentop Day Camp: Each day drop off is between 8:30am-9:00am. When you arrive at camp, a Day Camp staff will greet you outside the office. All medication for Day Campers must be checked in with the nurses prior to the first day of camp.
League Pioneers: Check in time for all League Pioneer participants is 3:30pm.
Travel Camp: Check-in time will be 11:00am on the first day of the session.
Summer Camp and League Pioneers: Departure is between 10am and 11am on the final day of the session. If you would like to pick up your camper earlier, please speak with the Director to arrange a time.
Greentop Day Camp: Each day pick up is between 5:30pm-6:00pm.
Travel Camp: Pick-up time is at 4pm on the final day of the session unless otherwise specified on the itinerary. Due to traveling, no alternate pick-up times can be arranged.
Please note there is a $50.00 late fee for each ½ hour you are late to pick up your camper.
From Baltimore, MD:
Take I-70 WEST from the Baltimore Beltway (I-695).
Once in Frederick, follow signs to ROUTE 15 NORTH.
Take the exit for ROUTE 77.
Go WEST on ROUTE 77 toward HAGERSTOWN.
Follow 77 for about four miles.
Turn RIGHT onto PARK CENTRAL ROAD by the National Park Visitor's Center.
Camp Greentop is THREE MILES UP on the LEFT.
From Emmitsburg, MD/Gettysburg, PA:
Take 15 SOUTH toward FREDERICK.
Take the exit for ROUTE 77.
Go WEST on ROUTE 77 toward HAGERSTOWN.
Follow 77 for about four miles.
Turn RIGHT onto PARK CENTRAL ROAD by the National Park Visitor's Center.
Camp Greentop is THREE MILES UP on the LEFT.
If Park Central Road is CLOSED at the Visitor's Center:
Instead of turning right onto Park Central, continue WEST on ROUTE 77 for about six miles.
Turn right onto FOXVILLE DEERFIELD ROAD.
The road will come to a fork, veer RIGHT onto MANAHAN ROAD.
At the stop sign, turn RIGHT onto PARK CENTRAL ROAD.
Camp Greentop is approximately 1 MILE up on the RIGHT.
From Washington, DC:
Take George Washington Parkway towards I-495.
Take I-495 towards I-270.
Take I-270 North toward Frederick.
Take Rt. 15 North towards Thurmont, MD.
GO WEST on ROUTE 77 toward HAGERSTOWN.
Turn right onto PARK CENTRAL ROAD by the National Park Visitor's Center.
Camp Greentop is THREE MILES UP on the LEFT.
