The League Camping & Therapeutic Recreation is proud to serve the continued needs of our campers and families by offering a wide variety of respite opportunities during the off season. The Weekend Respite program not only includes 10 respite weekends October through April but also our popular Winter Camp program. Just like our summer camp program, all our off-season programming is designed to focus on what a person can do! Each program is themed and campers enjoy a wide variety of activities including sports, arts & crafts, cooking, nature and much more.
All of our programming, including Weekend Respite and Winter Camp, will be held at the Patuxent River 4-H Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This facility is about an hour from both Baltimore and Frederick County.
Join Camping & Therapeutic Recreation for themed weekends of fun! Each weekend is from Friday at 5pm until Sunday at 2pm and includes fun activities, delicious meals and staff to support campers based on their needs. A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Please note that transportation is available for all Weekend Respite for an additional $60 charge and that fee is non-refundable.
