Position: Administrative Coordinator                          

Department:  Workforce Development

Reports to: Director, Workforce Development & VP Workforce Development

Exempt/Non Exempt: Non-Exempt

 

Summary:

The League is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Coordinator for our Workforce Development Program located in our satellite office in Towson, MD. The position involves performing general office duties, overseeing an intensive monthly billing and collections process, office supply procurement, and maintaining accurate records and files. The ideal candidate for this position will be a quick learner, organized, upbeat, enthusiastic, fun-loving, a dynamic team player, and able to work independently. 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Monday – Friday, 35 hours/week Full-time, hourly position

  • Pay Rate commensurate with experience

  • Full benefits package including full use of The League’s Wellness Center

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing administrative duties

  • Must be able to quickly learn new technology and be able to support various types of software

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. ASL, bi/multilingual skills are a plus

  • Ability to effectively manage numerous simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Requires the ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with a diverse team (coworkers, job seekers with disabilities, family members, DORS Counselors, Service Coordination, and employers)
