Manager, Clinical and Family Consultation

The Manager, Clinical and Family Consultation will provide clinical consultation and guidance to all staff, participants, and families within the Youth Autism Services department. The Manager will ensure that individual goals are being achieved, appropriate services delivered, documentation requirements are completed, and family needs are met.  This manager will be responsible for directly supervising family consultants and providing clinical observations/supervision to all staff, as needed.

Manager, Behavior Support Services (BSS)

All BSS services should focus on positive behavior interventions and utilize a person-centered approach to address undesirable behaviors which will allow individuals with disabilities the ability to reach their highest level of independence.

Food Service Program Assistant

The Food Service Program Assistant (FSPA), under the supervision of the Office Manager and Program Director, will follow guidelines of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Health Department to ensure all health & safety measures are met daily and compliance is maintained.  The FSPA will also ensure that meals are served in accordance to the monthly preset menus.

Behavior Consultants-BCBA, LCPC, or LCSW-C

As The League receives referrals for Behavior Support Services, cases will be assigned to a BSS Consultant who will be responsible for implementing the requested/authorized services (i.e., behavior assessment, behavior plan development, and behavior consultation).  All BSS services should focus on positive behavior interventions and utilize a person-centered approach to address undesirable behaviors which will allow individuals with disabilities the ability to reach their highest level of independence

Program Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant)

The CNA/PA will work under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services.  The successful person in this position engage with participants during activities and provide general assistance with activities of daily living.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will work under the supervision of the Facilities Manager to ensure League facilities are properly maintained, clean and safe.

Health Service Nurse (Registered Nurse)

The staff RN is responsible for monitoring the health status of all League participants, completing appropriate documentation that meets COMAR regulations and actively participating in the care planning process.

Donor Relations Coordinator

The Donor Relations Coordinator will primarily provide clerical support to The League’s development department, and other departments as assigned.  Under the direction of the Vice President of Development, the Donor Relations Coordinator will work to contribute to the vitality of the organization by strengthening relationships with donors and volunteers, while promoting the organization’s mission and values to external stakeholders.

Activity Assistant

The Activity Assistant, under the supervision of the Manager, Therapeutic Recreation, is responsible for the implementation of all therapeutic/recreational programs as assigned.

Family Consultant

The Family Consultant is responsible for providing monthly consultation, support, and training to caregivers and families receiving Autism Waiver services for their children.  The Family Consultant will work with families and staff to meet the individual needs of the participants and provide family training as necessary.

TI Instructor

The Therapeutic Integration Instructor works with a team of other Instructors, the Activity Specialist, and the Program Manager to run the Therapeutic Integration program at The League’s Cold Spring Lane location. The Therapeutic Integration program meets during the school year and follows the Baltimore City Public Schools calendar. Therapeutic Integration Instructors work with a case load of three participants with autism, assisting participants with personal care and facilitating programs in the areas of sports, cooking, swimming, arts and music. This is a part time position.

Autism Support Counselor (DSP)

The Autism Support Counselors (DSP) are responsible for implementing the assigned participant(s) plan of care and or individual treatment plan. Working with our youth and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and or pre-vocational skills. Experience with persons with Autism preferred and must have own vehicle and be willing to drive participants in your car

The Aquatics Team is responsible for ensuring the pool area is safe and well maintained to meet the needs of our members and participants

The Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing the assigned participant’s person-centered plan and behavior plan, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and pre-vocational skills. The Behavior Technician will work with their assigned participant at The League and in the community. Must have own vehicle and be willing to drive participants in your car.

Personal Support Counselor

The Support Counselors are responsible for implementing the assigned participant(s) plan of care, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help and communication skills. The Support Counselor will work with assigned participant(s) in the community and/or the participant’s home, depending on the participant’s needs. Must have own vehicle and be willing to drive participants in your car.

Weekend Camp Counselors

Weekend (Respite) Camp Counselors will provide opportunities for children and adults with significant disabilities to grow, make social connections, enjoy the great outdoors.  Weekend camps run from Fri. evening until Sunday afternoon and transportation is provided.
