CNA/Aquatics/Driver (Adult Medical Day)
Position: CNA/Aquatics/Driver
Department: Adult Medical Day
Reports to: Charge CNA & RN
Exempt/Non- Exempt: Non-Exempt
Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm
Summary: The CNA/Aquatics/Driver is responsible for transporting, providing direct care, and assistance with daily living tasks to an adult population.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Assist with participants with toileting needs
• Assist with handing out meals
• Feed or assist participants with meals
• Responsible for monthly vital signs and weights as assigned
• Monitor activity at the door when assigned
• Notify appropriate staff if any Medical Day participants attempt to leave building without notification
• Drive and or assist on Field trips
• Assist with activities
• Monitor participants while on League transportation when assigned
• Notify nurse for medical concerns noticed or voiced by participant
• Maintain clean and safe environment
• Perform a variety of general office duties when requested
• Give proper notification for absence or illness
• Works with other staff to meet the needs of participants
• Support the mission of The League by creating a supportive environment for participants and staff
• Show dependability by being punctual and maintaining consistent attendance
• Give appropriate notice for time off or illness
• Assist with other duties as assigned
• Monitor participants while on League transportation when assigned
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Charge CNA, RN and Administrator

Qualification requirements
• Ability to work well with others
• Effective verbal communication
• Certified Nursing Assistant
• Valid Drivers License and one year experience working with disabled population in a day or residential setting preferred
