Manager, DDA Case Management


The Manager, DDA Case Management provides coordination and oversight of the admissions and case management functions for all DDA meaningful day services to ensure a consistent person-centered planning process throughout all programming. Duties include Supervision of Case Managers, working closely with Coordinators of Community Services (CCS), accepting and/or declining services in LTSS, and leading the agency’s marketing and recruitment efforts for DDA-funded participants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to team of Case Managers and Intake Coordinator. 

  • Interview, hire, and provide ongoing professional development and support for Case Managers. 

  • Ensure that all referrals for DDA meaningful day services are carefully and adequately screened and that all intake procedures are followed by working with the Intake Coordinator. 

  • Serve as an active member of the DDA program management team, ensuring that participants are being adequately assessed while participating in Community Integration and Career Discovery groups, leading to timely and seamless transitions into employment services as appropriate. 

  • Ensure that adequate funding is secured and maintained for each individual served (i.e., DDA Service Funding Plans/LTSS service acceptance or denials, 1:1 funding renewals, Private Pay Agreements, DORS, etc.)

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend Person-Centered Planning meetings and interim meetings as needed to provide support to the team and/or advocate for needed services 

  • Ensuring all DDA files are maintained in accordance to DDA regulations, League Policies and Procedures and CARF standards by conducting and providing oversight of quarterly file reviews. 

  • Closely monitor quarterly progress/outcome reviews, making recommendations regarding service provision or suggested strategies. 

  • Ensure that thorough intake packets are completed and new files are created for all new participants, GTYI or transfer participants. 

  • Attend transitioning youth meetings (DDA Core Meetings, Metro Transition Council, Match Day) and resource fairs to market The League’s services to students who will be exiting the school system and selecting adult providers to support them. 

  • Remain abreast of best practices in the field of developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders, and incorporate best practices and strategies into programming to the greatest extent possible. 

  • Assist in creating a progressive, safe and culturally competent workplace. 

  • Fully participate as a member of the League Management Team. 

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen. 

  • Must possess basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook; Excel skills preferred but not required. 

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Must have excellent organization and time management skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, rehabilitation counseling, human services, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities, with at least 1 year of experience operating in a case management capacity. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of DDA related experience preferred.
