David A. Greenberg
President & Chief Executive Officer
David A. Greenberg is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of The League. In this position, he is responsible for the overall success of The League. Prior to joining the team at The League, David has held numerous hospital administration positions, most recently at Mt. Washington Pediatric hospital in Baltimore, where he was a Vice President, responsible for ambulatory services.
David holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. He has been a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland for more than 40 years.
David is a graduate of the 2014 class of Leadership Maryland, 2011 Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Fellows Program, and the 2009 class of Leadership Baltimore County. He is currently a commissioner on the Baltimore City Mayor’s Commission on Disabilities, as well as the Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities. He serves on the boards of the Maryland Association of Community Services as well as the Rotary Club of Baltimore.
In 2014, David was awarded the Daily Record’s Most Admired CEO Award.

Margretta "Margy" Ryan
Vice President, Finance
Margy Ryan is currently the Vice President of Finance at The League. In this position, she is responsible for the oversight of budgets, cash management, financial reporting and analysis as well as risk management areas. Prior to joining the team at The League, Margy was the Director of Administrative Services at Family and Children’s Services of Central Maryland, and the Chief Financial Officer at Tuerk House.
Margy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. She has 40 years of experience, most of which were in the non-profit sector. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
Margy is a graduate of the 2015 class of Leadership Baltimore County and she is an active volunteer at the Women’s Housing Coalition, where she mentors women with disabilities on fiscal and budget management to allow them to become more self-sufficient.

Renée Dash, MBA, MSN, RN
Vice President, Medical Programs and Chief Nursing Officer
Renée Dash is the current Vice President of Medical Programs and Chief Nursing Officer with The League. In this position, she directly oversees The Adult Medical Day program, Snyder Center for Aphasia Life Enhancement (SCALE), and the MS Day program. Prior to joining the team at The League, Renee was the Director of Quality Operations at Inovalon, Inc.
Renée holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore, as well as an MBA from the University of Baltimore. She also received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Tuskegee University. Renée has 20 years of experience as a registered nurse with expertise in clinical quality assurance and operations management.
Renée currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Adult Day Services.

Maureen Jeffreys
Vice President, Community Programs
Maureen Jeffreys is currently the Vice President of Developmental Disabilities Services. She is a veteran of the United States Air National Guard and has a passion for human services and servant leadership. Maureen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Trident University International.
Maureen is also a recipient of a full scholarship from the Rehabilitation Services Administration as she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health & Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at Thomas University in Thomasville, GA. She is a current member of the Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society for Professional Counselors.
Maureen has 14 years of regional experience as a leader in Vocational Rehabilitation and Community Integration. Maureen believes in person-centered practices and her greatest desire is to see people grow and achieve their goals.

Michelle Johnson, M.Div., MSN, RN-BC
Vice President, Youth & Recreation Programs
Michelle Johnson is the current Vice President of Youth & Recreation Programs with The League, overseeing the Youth Autism Services and Camp & Recreation departments. In this new role, she will improve operations for participants, staff, and management so that The League can provide exceptional programming for youth, adults, and families.
Michelle has held a number of leadership positions, most recently as Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s Director of Patient & Family Experience. Prior to her role at GBMC, Michelle spent fourteen years at St. Agnes Hospital gaining valuable experience in a variety of staff and leadership positions. Michelle has her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Howard University and her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University. The League benefits from her experience with executive level leader collaboration, clinical education, and best standard practice implementation.

Rhonda Johnson
Vice President, Customer Relations
Rhonda Johnson is the current Vice President of Customer Relations for The League. In this position, she ensures all participant and customer relations are conducted with a focus on consumer advocacy and satisfaction. It is her responsibility to ensure that The League provides outstanding services and supports to our participants, community members and that staff providing direct support have the tools necessary to be successful in their roles.
Rhonda holds a Master Certification from Johns Hopkins University in Medical Billing and Coding, and has more than twenty years of non-profit management experience.
Rhonda is passionate about the quality of care and services provided to all of those who are served by The League.

Dawn Witherspoon, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Vice President, Human Resources & Compliance
Dawn Witherspoon is the current Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance. She is a human resources leader with 20+ years of hands-on progressive human resources and strategic operations experience in the health-care and non-profit industries. Dawn also has over 10 years of management experience and significant experience with multi-site organizations.
She serves as a Subject Matter Expert with HRCI, which is the governing body of the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Dawn also serves on the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) Advocacy Team.

Lauren Yankolonis
Vice President, Development & Marketing
Lauren Yankolonis is the current Vice President of Development at The League. In this position, she provides strategic direction of and planning for the long term development and marketing program for The League. Prior to joining the team at The League, Lauren was Executive Director for the Arthritis Foundation in Maryland and Delaware.
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Towson University. She brings more than thirteen years of “best practice” experience in the nonprofit field, focused on strategic planning, volunteer management, managing staff, fundraising and communications.
Lauren is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Maryland Chapter, and is a volunteer with Empower4Life in Baltimore County, serving families affected by homelessness in Baltimore County.
