Administrative Coordinator (Workforce Development)

The League is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Coordinator for our Workforce Development Program located in our satellite office in Towson, MD. The position involves performing general office duties, overseeing an intensive monthly billing and collections process, office supply procurement, and maintaining accurate records and files.

Behavior Consultant-BCBA, LCPC, or LCSW-C

Direct Service Professional (DSP) 1:1 Support (Day Habilitation)

The Direct Support Professional, also known as a Community Learning & Retention Specialist (CLRS) 1:1 is responsible for implementing the assigned participant’s individual treatment plan, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and pre-vocational skills. The CLRS 1:1 will work with assigned participant at The League and in the community. 

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Personal Support Counselor

The Direct Support Professional, also known as a Personal Support Counselor is responsible for implementing the assigned participant(s) plan of care, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help and communication skills. The Support Counselor will work with assigned participant(s) in the community and/or the participant’s home, depending on the participant’s needs.

Driver/ Courier- (League Industries)

Provide deliveries for carrier route for SHA and DDS.  Full- and Part-Time positions available.

Receptionist

Acts as The League’s representative to inform the community of the many services provided by The League. Works as team player with other staff and volunteers, adhering to confidentially, agency policies and standards of conduct.

Training Specialist (Workforce Development)

The Training Specialist is responsible for providing pre-employment work readiness services to participants referred for Employee Development Services (EDS) and Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLEs). The Training Specialist’s duties include developing appropriate community-based training sites, providing quality training and ongoing support and monitoring, and connecting participants with ancillary services including other internal League services. The Training Specialist will also provide job development for assigned participants, and will work closely with the job development team to transfer other participants to their assigned Employment Specialist in a timely manner. During times of low EDS and/or WBLE referrals, this position may also be assigned job coaching cases as needed.

Vice President of Development

This senior development professional will work with closely with the CEO and the board of directors to create a long-term development plan to grow and enhance The League’s fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for the strategy, implementation, evaluation and achievement of all support revenue goals and is primarily responsible for managing the organizations major gifts and planned giving programs. A key member of The League’s Executive Leadership Team, this position involves interaction with various League audiences and requires strong interpersonal skills.

Vice President, Workforce & Community Integretion

The Vice President, Workforce & Community Integration is responsible for the coordination of all of The League’s Developmental Disabilities and Workforce Development services for adults and children with disabilities. The VP will provide effective leadership, staff development, program enhancement, marketing, and overall operational oversight to ensure that the departments meet and/or exceed regulatory and accreditation standards.

Youth Autism Support Counselor (DSP)

Responsible for implementing the plan of care for children with Autism. Working with participants and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and/or pre-vocational skills.  Work will be performed at various locations including The League buildings, and other community locations.
