Administrative Coordinator (Workforce Development)

The League is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Coordinator for our Workforce Development Program located in our satellite office in Towson, MD. The position involves performing general office duties, overseeing an intensive monthly billing and collections process, office supply procurement, and maintaining accurate records and files.

Behavior Consultant-BCBA, LCPC, or LCSW-C

Day Habilitation Program Assistant

To provide developmental/ vocational habilitation training services consistent with each participants Individual Plan by implementation of skill acquisition in areas of self- help, daily living skills, socialization, leisure, basic academics, motor skills, communication and behavior.  

Direct Service Professional (DSP) 1:1 Support (Day Habilitation)

The Direct Support Professional, also known as a Community Learning & Retention Specialist (CLRS) 1:1 is responsible for implementing the assigned participant’s individual treatment plan, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and pre-vocational skills. The CLRS 1:1 will work with assigned participant at The League and in the community. 

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Personal Support Counselor

The Direct Support Professional, also known as a Personal Support Counselor is responsible for implementing the assigned participant(s) plan of care, working with the participant and their family to improve socialization, self-help and communication skills. The Support Counselor will work with assigned participant(s) in the community and/or the participant’s home, depending on the participant’s needs.

Driver/ Courier- (League Industries)

Provide deliveries for carrier route for SHA and DDS.  Full- and Part-Time positions available.

Employment Specialist (Workforce Development)

The Employment Specialist assists in the development of employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and also provides job coaching and career discovery activities as needed.

Intake Specialist (Workforce Development) Part Time

The Intake Specialist will facilitate the admission process for all individuals seeking services through the Workforce Development Program.

Manager, Behavior Support Services (BSS)

Provide support to League management and direct care staff in the development of behavioral protocols and strategies to address maladaptive behaviors that may be a result of personal and environmental stressors impacting person’s ability to benefit from programming.  This manager will also be responsible for processing all BSS referrals to The League, as well as other BSS-related administrative duties including tracking and billing functions.

 

Manager, Person Centered Planning

The Manager, Person Centered Planning provides coordination and oversight of the admissions and case management functions for all DDA meaningful day services to ensure a consistent person-centered planning process throughout all programming. Duties include working closely with Coordinators of Community Services (CCS), accepting and/or declining services in LTSS, and leading the agency’s marketing and recruitment efforts for DDA-funded participants.

Program Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant) /Aquatic Assistant

The CNA/ Aquatic Assistant will work under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services.  The successful person in this position will assist participants in preparation for and while in the pool during aqua therapy, engage with participants during activities and provide general assistance with activities of daily living.

RN Manager, Health Services (Medical Day)

The RN Health Services Manager is responsible for monitoring the health status of all League participants and completing appropriate documentation that meets the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).  The Health Services Manager also actively supervises Medical Day program staff and participates in the quality assurance and utilization review process.

Summer Camp Nurse (Camp Greentop)

In search of an RN or LPN to live and work at our summer camp for children and adults with disabilities. The Camp Nurse is responsible to assist the Health Services Coordinator in ensuring the health and wellness of all campers and staff. The Camp Nurse will communicate regularly with cabin staff and administer medication and first aid as needed.

Vice President, Workforce & Community Integretion

The Vice President, Workforce & Community Integration is responsible for the coordination of all of The League’s Developmental Disabilities and Workforce Development services for adults and children with disabilities. The VP will provide effective leadership, staff development, program enhancement, marketing, and overall operational oversight to ensure that the departments meet and/or exceed regulatory and accreditation standards.

Youth Autism Support Counselor (DSP)

Responsible for implementing the plan of care for children with Autism. Working with participants and their family to improve socialization, self-help, communication and/or pre-vocational skills.  Work will be performed at various locations including The League buildings, and other community locations.
