Administrative Coordinator

Position: Administrative Coordinator                          

Department:  Youth Autism Services

Reports to: Director, Autism & Behavior Support Services

Exempt/Non Exempt: Non-Exempt

 

Summary: The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for completing all billing and payroll preparation for Youth Autism Services. The Coordinator will also provide ongoing administrative assistance to the management team, as well as assisting with special projects.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete payroll preparation for hourly employees working in Youth Autism Services, submitting to Finance by the stated weekly deadline.

  • Complete monthly checks using EVS to ensure that all participants’ Medicaid status is active.

  • Complete weekly Medicaid billing in adherence to Code of Maryland Regulations for all Youth Autism services.

  • Research and resolve all non-payments in a timely manner, communicating with management regarding any extenuating circumstances or unexpected claim denials.

  • Complete monthly Private Pay invoices using SAGE 100 for all Youth Autism services.

  • Complete filing duties for Youth Autism Services Master Files.

  • Maintain Respite Tracking database.

  • Complete monthly Autism Waiver Tracking Logs.

  • Maintain a current participant and stakeholder mailing list.

  • Draft, prepare, and mail general correspondence.

  • Assist Director as needed.

 

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operationalize the mission of The League for People with Disabilities by creating a supportive environment for participants and staff

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Educational and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma required; bachelors in a related field preferred.

  • Must have a working knowledge of the current Microsoft office suite and have the ability to learn and manipulate new software.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in an administrative support role.
